Our Multimedia Center

Our free-access multimedia resource center is open to all Poitiers University students and personnel through the TEA program (Travail Etudiant en Autonomie).

Preparing to take a certifying language proficiency test (CLESS, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, DELE)?

You can improve your language skills in English, Spanish, German and Italian. You can start to learn German, Italian, Arabic, Russian, Polish, Welsh, Portuguese, English, Spanish, Chinese, Dutch, Japanese and even Hindi at your own rhythm with our documentary resources (interactive CD-ROMS, DVDs, CD audios, books, magazines, interactive on-line methods…).

We have created a training category called “Mananging in…” (“Se débrouiller en…”) to get ready for visits or stays abroad.

In English, look for documents available in:

  • business English : presentations, meetings, e-mails, socialising…
  • professional English : from a large choice including “English for… international tourism, the media, accounting, logistics, marketing, human resources, computing, aviation, nursing…”

We also offer new topics like:

  • applying for a job : applying for a job in English, writing your resume and cover letter in English, preparing for a job interview…
  • studying / working abroad : making an internship successful, studying or working in the United-States, studying in Great-Britain or Ireland, etc.

Weekly news magazines in English such as Time Magazine, The Economist or Vocable (also available in German and Spanish) are also available every week to keep you informed.
